Qing's story began in a small London flat when its founder, Layla, was struggling to find just the right colourways for her project and began experimenting with hand-dyeing yarn in her kitchen.  What started in a kitchen quickly grew into a dedicated dye studio in London - and has now expanded to a second studio in Beijing, Layla's hometown. 

Qing's fibres are carefully sourced from the world's finest mills, then dyed in small batches using vibrant, dreamy, and unconventional colourways.
